Six Years, Two Year and three weeks

It has been a month of milestones at the Lindberg house this month.  Mary and I celebrated our sixth wedding aniversary, Lucy turned two years old, and Annie hit her third week.  Annie is doing really well, somehow Mary and I have been blessed with two really good kids.  Annie almost never crys and when she does she lasts about four minutes before she gives up and takes a nap (lazy, like her dad, now I just have to teach her to watch NASCAR and we are all set...)

Lucy is quickly turning into the typical two year old, it's hard to scold her because she is absolutely hilarious.  She is very, very verbal and isn't afraid to let you know what's on her mind.  Some of her favorites right now are responding with "of course" or "I think so..." or when she is mad "leave me alone daddy, no talking to me right now."  We had a small birthday celebration for her and her little friends at the park on Saturday.  It is really fun to watch them interact with each other.  As she recognized the cars pulling up carrying her friends she would shout "friend Sally" or "friend Nora" and get fired up.  It was great.

Now to the video....

Uncle PJ graduated from Grinnell College this week, congratulations Uncle PG!

Day 5

Lucy has taken pretty well to her new sister... no huge problems yet.  In fact, she likes to give Annie "gentle pats" and even has started to want to hold her little sis.

So you may have noticed a few things... First, I haven't updated this blog in forever. Second, the name has changed.

We have added another member to our little family.  Anna (Annie) Claire Lindberg was born on May 4, 2011 at 11:16 AM.

Who Doesn't Love an Orchard

It seems as though we have been visiting many an orchard over the past few weeks. Apple, pumpkin, empty, it really doesn't matter the type Lucy, Mary or I have visited them the last few weeks. The weather has been great and it has been a good chance to visit with friends and family.

Lucy has also been learning words like it's her job. It is fun to hear her talk.

Lucy and her friend Sally visited a Pumpkin patch (after Brad took them to an orchard 45 minutes away that was closed, awesome).

Lucy and Mom

Then Lucy visited another Orchard with Grandma and Grandpa Mahaffey. She took her first hay ride.

Leg hug

More pumpkins (or punks, according to Lucy)

Apple Cider rules

Finally, we have been treating Mini's "belly button" for a yeast infection. Lucy decided her belly button needed treatment as well....
