Who Doesn't Love an Orchard

It seems as though we have been visiting many an orchard over the past few weeks. Apple, pumpkin, empty, it really doesn't matter the type Lucy, Mary or I have visited them the last few weeks. The weather has been great and it has been a good chance to visit with friends and family.

Lucy has also been learning words like it's her job. It is fun to hear her talk.

Lucy and her friend Sally visited a Pumpkin patch (after Brad took them to an orchard 45 minutes away that was closed, awesome).

Then Lucy visited another Orchard with Grandma and Grandpa Mahaffey. She took her first hay ride.

Finally, we have been treating Mini's "belly button" for a yeast infection. Lucy decided her belly button needed treatment as well....

What I Did with My Summer Vacation

So, I am bad at blogging... I don't really have a good excuse, other than laziness. So, here is what we did this summer

Stuffed Animals and Izzy

Lucy has taken a huge liking to all things stuffed. She LOVES stuffed animals. We call them "Stuffies" around the house. She can't do anything without one. Go to bed, need a stuffie. Get a diaper change, need a stuffie. Ride in the car... you get the idea.

Lucy is really close to walking. Mary just read a baby center update yesterday about milestones. Lucy is currently doing everything a 16 month old should be doing, except walking. Not bad for a giant 11 month old.

This week cousin Izzy came for her first visit. Lucy is now the middle grandchild on the Lindberg side. Crazy....

Catching Up - Again

It's been a really long time since I posted last. I have promised myself that I am going to post at least once a week. But I have also promised myself I would loose weight and run a half marathon, and those promises haven't gotten me very far.

Lucy is awesome, she is crawling, talking, (uh oh, ball, dada, mama etc) and pulling herself up. She has also started to dance, which we have to get on video immediately.
