Nevermind...
Lots of good news around our house this week. First, it's the holidays and Mary loves the Holidays. She has enough holiday spirit for the entire family.
Lucy and I are both feeling better, which is nice. Even better, Mary and I finally got our schedules confirmed for the next year. We are both cutting down to a four day work week. We will be able to keep Lucy out of day care full time which we are very grateful for!
In other news Lucy had a Holiday Pageant at school this week and went to visit Santa for the first time. Neither were a great success... there were tears all around. Here are some photos.

Christmas is Coming
Well, the last week has been filled with a lot of sickness. Lucy got her first ear infection, in both ears, and I ended up with strep throat. I guess I am in second grade again.
Because she was sick, Lucy stopped sleeping through the night. She was up every 45 minutes or so for the entire week. Mary and I got a true education about what it is like to have a baby. Lucy has been sleeping through the night since she was 6 weeks old, so the lack of sleep was something we were not used to at all.
Even through the sleepless nights we still had a big highlight... We cut off Lucy's mullet. For a little girl, she did work on her mullet. It was long, thick and stylish. It reminded Mary of Lucy's second cousin Ryan...
As per usual, we didn't take too many new pictures, so I decided to throw out some oldies but goodies, because lets be honest, no one wants to read what I have to write...

Wow! Dad is Lazy...
So, it's been almost three months since I posted anything on the blog... pretty lazy. Anyways, there is a lot to catch up on. I will hit the highlights below in the pictures.
First, a little comparison:

Lucy at six months.

First, a little comparison:
Lucy at six months.
At her six month appointment Lucy didn't disappoint the giant lovers among us. She weighed in at 23 pounds and was 27 inches tall. Off the charts. For a little comparison, Lucy's Dad weighed 17 pounds when he was over 2 years old... I guess we know who she takes after.
Lucy has done a lot of fun things, met many, many new people and learned some new baby tricks along the way. Here are some highlights.

Lucy visited Iowa to meet her great grandma Peggy, she was lucky enough to get her picture taken with her mom, grandma and great grandma.

Goodnight!
While in Iowa we also got to play with our cousin Luke, Auntie Kem and Uncle Matthew. Luke made Lucy laugh all the time (another new baby trick). They were good buddies.
We also celebrated our first Halloween. Lucy has been attending an ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education, dad thinks its parenting for dummies...) course with mom and dad since she was three months old. It is fun to see the growth of her ECFE friends and compare where the babies at different ages are and think about all the fun stuff Lucy will learn.
At EFCE Lucy celebrated her first Halloween as a ladybug. She also sat up by herself for the first time.

We also had our first Thanksgiving together with the whole Lindberg family. It's weird how many of us there are now, and there are more on the way....
Here are some other awesome things Lucy has learned since the onset of the blog laziness streak:

There are more things, like talking LOTS, picking stuff up and starting daycare, but mom and dad are terrible photographers and always forget the camera.
Anyway, Lucy is crying because Mini won't stop trying to lick her face off. I better go put an end to it before Lucy pulls Mini's tail off.
